The making of a DEAD MUMMY GIRL

Making a mummy is really tough work you know. It doesn't just happen at the drop of a dime. I will try to enlighten you with our ancient mummification process and philosophy. Don't worry if you don't get it at first. Your brains are still way to fresh and gooey to fully appreciate all that goes into dried, rotting corpses, and preserved ancient flesh. Just be glad that you can't smell anything through the screen! Our mummy aroma is an acquired scent!



There are some moments of tremendous frustration...................

Bumbali became obsessed with washing her hands at MiMi's house. The cute little kitty cat soap was just irresistible. She had to take a bath to get it out of her system.

Bumbalina and the Bounce House

Bumbalina went to her friend, Angie's, 2nd birthday party on Saturday. They had a lovely tea party and bounced the day away in the Dora the Explorer Bounce House.

After hours of bouncing, playing with balloons, eating pozole, tres leches cake, and ice cream, it was time to go. Bumbali's climbed up into her seat, with a big happy smile on her face

and quickly drifted off into dream land with friends and balloons and bounce houses too

Lots of determination and perseverance on Miss Bumbles part. She's not a quitter! She ate it all up!

Bumbalina is now officially sleeping in her very own "big girl bed" every night, all by herself! I'm so proud of her!

The party started at Auntie Janet's with dancing and singing and running up and down the halls with Michael and Gio.

Then we took the party to Gloria Carcamo's to meet the family and hang out with the girls!


Back to the Love residence for hugs, kisses, and tamales at midnight.

The party went on.

But Bumbali's energy was fading.

Bumbalina in the bath. She is getting better at signing and telling us want she wants. At bedtime she went to the bathroom door and asked for a bath. In the photos and video here you can see her signing bath.
